We recently released a new call for submissions on our blog. We are looking for contributors for a variety of projects. See if any of them suit you here
Magazine submissions are currently closed, but here's our guidelines for future reference. . .
We tend to lean towards work that is in some way weird, dark, experimental, unique. Send us any kind of writing, photography or artwork you feel suits these criteria.
We would love to see some combinations of images and language; concrete poetry, photopoetry, comics, memes and any other form of visual-linguistic ephemera would be delicious.
All individual pieces of writing — poetry, fiction, nonfiction, script and anything in between (we love hybrid work) — should be under 1000 words-ish, but send as many pieces as you like . We encourage excerpts from longer pieces. Works in progress are also welcome.
We also want to publish the poetry of the everyday; images and texts which demonstrate the poetic resonance of conversation, the language of public spaces, bureaucratic and commercial language, labels, receipts, instruction manuals, takeaway menus etc. These suggestions are not prescriptive, but you get the idea.
We are not looking for work that is ‘polished’. Just give us your jarring sparks of uniqueness.
Send your work to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject SUBMISSION. If you're kind enough to write a cover letter just address it to the 'editors'.
Between submission and acceptance, please let us know if we're unable use your work for whatever reason.
We accept cryptocurrency donations on our website, and we think this should be open to all. If your work appears on our blog or in the digital edition of our magazine we can display your crypto address alongside your work so you can receive donations.
